      I was born in Hong Kong and moved to California as a baby. My mom enrolled me in tumbling at the age of 6, probably to keep me occupied, and that started my life long love of gymnastics. I was very active in sports as a kid, I was a soccer player and cheerleader but my main focus was always gymnastics. I competed until my sophmore year in college when an injury ended my career. I went on to complete my degree in Biology.

After college I really just had a good time, going to the beach and lots of Grateful Dead concerts. Eventually I had to grow up. I was working as an environmental chemist when I met my husband Todd. I swore I would never date a man in the military. Never say never because Todd is a Major in the Air Force and we have been married for 16 years. We've been stationed in Alaska twice, North Carolina, and Texas twice.

After the birth of our third child I decided it was time to get back in shape and I joined a gym. A few years after that I went to my first Bodybuilding, Figure and Fitness show. I thought I would give it a try so I competed for the first time the week after my 40th birthday. I placed second in Masters Figure and I was hooked. After competing in figure for a few years I decided to give fitness a try. In 2009 at the Ronnie Coleman I met a woman who told me I had alot of talent. That woman was Adela Garcia and that day changed my life. I immediately contacted her and we have been working together ever since. She has taught me how to train for fitness and has totally changed my routines. She has done such a good job that I won my pro card in my first national show! I am looking forward to my pro debut in November!

Life is great but it's not all working out and competitions. I have three wonderful kids that keep me very busy. My oldest, Nick, is a senior and will be off to college or the Air Force next year. He runs cross country and track. I don't know where he gets it because I hate to run! My daughter Gabrielle is a freshman and is involved in cheerleading, tumbling and is a champion shot put thrower. She hasn't lost a meet in two years. I'm hoping to get her involved in fitness. She can out dance me any day of the week. My baby, Ben, is a sixth grader and tears it up on the football field every Saturday. He's also a straight A student and the sweetest kid ever. I'm very proud of all my kids! I am also proud and honored to be Todd's wife. He is an amazing father and husband.
